Tom Lopez – The Craftsman
Tom is a QBCC licenced carpenter with over 10 years experience under his belt. As a professional carpenter and home improvement specialist, Tom has the skills, knowledge and know-how to transform your home and maximise its potential for your enjoyment and comfort.
Throughout his career, Tom has honed his skills on a wide range of projects including decks, room refurbishments, renovations, custom cabinetry supply and installation, outdoor structures, hardscape landscaping, home improvements, and home maintenance.
Tom is good with his hands and creative in his thinking. He can help you bring your home improvement dreams into reality; ensuring that your project not only looks great but also functions perfectly.
Clare Lopez – The Coordinator
Clare Lopez is Tom’s trusty partner in both business and life, and brings over 15 years of management and customer service experience to The Reliable Guy.
While you are unlikely to meet Clare out onsite, she will be your go-to contact to answer any questions, book in your work, liaise with you about the schedule and help to keep the workflow ticking along.
Clare, like Tom, is a creative thinker and a purpose-driven doer, with the customer’s perspective in the forefront of her mind. She is great with the details and is committed to giving you the best possible experience when working with The Reliable Guy.

With years of collective experience in home improvements and customer service, Tom and Clare took the leap into small business in 2020 offering home improvement and carpentry services.
Acknowledging the common narrative of unreliable trades, Tom and Clare declared to be The Reliable Guy. The ethos of The Reliable Guy is to give a reliable service from the initial enquiry through to the job completion.
